Scrolls to Scripture

The Bible is a book of faith not unlike a biology text book. Readers of both were not present when the experience of the writers encountered phenomena. We trust that the words we read, written by others, are truthful to their experience. In the case of the words of the Bible, followers believe that the words were not just the experiences of the writers but also inspired by the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit. In this book we follow the path of the authorship and the transmission of the words of the authors and the Holy Spirit across time.

If someone believes in Jesus through the testimony of those who walked with Him, they must believe in the whole Bible. Reading the words of Jesus found in the gospels, we find that Jesus ratifies the narratives of Adam and Eve, Noah, Moses, Abraham, David, Jonah and more. In this book we will find that the passing down of these narratives took on many forms beginning with an oral tradition followed by frequent recopying and translation of text. Anyone who believes in Jesus, must believe that not only were the original writings fully the Word of God, but also the passing on of the narrative by all means must be shepherded by the Spirit of God also.
